Privacy

TravelRequirements.info is a static website. It requires no account, sets no tracking cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and sells no data.

What data is processed

When you visit, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data — your IP address, browser user agent and the pages requested — to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. We do not receive or keep these logs ourselves. The choices you make in the trip bar — your passport, your display currency, and whether you hold a US visa or residence in a Gulf state — are stored only in your browser (localStorage) under keys beginning “tr.”; they are never sent to our servers, and clearing your browser's site data removes them. If you email us, we process your address and whatever your message contains.

Why, and on what legal basis

Serving the site securely and answering your messages are our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We use the data for nothing else and do not build profiles.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and forwards email sent to our address, acting as our processor under a data processing agreement. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States; such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long

We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with your message and any correction it leads to, and delete them no later than two years after the last exchange. Cloudflare keeps its technical logs for the periods set out in its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing and to object to it. To exercise any of these, write to the address below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl).

We link to official government websites and to archived copies of them on web.archive.org. Their privacy policies are their own — review them when you use those sites.
