Registering your presence after arrival, country by country
In some countries a visitor's presence must be registered with the police or the immigration authority within hours or days of arrival. Usually the hotel does it; where you stay privately, it can fall to you or your host. Each row gives what an official source states, with the sentence it rests on. A country missing from this table has not yet been researched or has no official page we could read; it does not mean no registration is required.
