Its visa table marks no visa for ordinary-passport holders from countries such as the US, the UK, Canada, Australia and Japan; nationals of the countries in Annex II of Regulation (EU) 2018/1806 are visa-free for no more than 90 days in any 180-day period. 90 days in any rolling 180-day period
90 days in any rolling 180-day period, counted across the whole Schengen Area rather than per country. The day you arrive counts as the first day and the day you leave counts as the last. Leaving and coming back does not reset the allowance: on any given day, days already spent anywhere in the area during the preceding 180 still count against the 90.
This limit is the one set for travellers who need permission to enter. It does not cap a stay you make under freedom of movement.
