Under Georgia's Government Resolution No. 256, holders of a visa or residence permit from a listed country, among them the US, the UK and Germany, can enter Georgia visa-free and stay for 90 calendar days in any 180-day period; the visa or permit must be valid on the day of entry.

Citizens of the countries in its Annex 1 qualify only with a multiple-entry visa or residence permit from those states that is valid for at least one year on the day they enter Georgia.
