Yellow fever certificate

Arriving from Tunisia, no yellow fever certificate is required: WHO does not list Tunisia as a transmission risk. It can still be demanded if you have been in a risk country shortly before arriving.

Driving on a Tunisia license

Maldives and Tunisia are both party to the 1968 Vienna Convention, so an International Driving Permit issued in Tunisia is one Maldives is bound to recognize.

Whether a permit is required alongside your national license is set by national road law, which we have not checked for this pair.

• Passport validity — Maldives Immigration says you need a passport or travel document with a machine-readable zone and at least 1 month's validity; the UK Foreign Office says your passport must have an expiry date at least one month after the date you arrive. Canada's travel advice says a Canadian passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.

• Imuga Traveller Declaration — Maldives Immigration says all travellers must submit the Traveller Declaration within 96 hours before their flight time for arrival, free of charge; the IMUGA home page lists it as a mandatory declaration within 96 hours of arrival or departure. It strongly advises using the IMUGA portal (imuga.immigration.gov.mv) and avoiding other websites that may charge a fee.
