Jordan's Ministry of Interior says ordinary-passport holders resident in the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, GCC states, South Korea, EU states, the Nordic countries or the UK can get a visa on arrival without prior approval if their residence is valid for at least six months, and that air arrivals must hold a return ticket; the same applies to holders of a Schengen or US visa valid for at least six months. It says ordinary-passport holders of Nigeria, Iran and Bangladesh, and holders of Arab and foreign travel documents (except those issued by the Vatican), need prior approval.

Driving on a Vietnam license
Jordan and Vietnam are both party to the 1949 Geneva Convention, so an International Driving Permit issued in Vietnam is one Jordan is bound to recognize.
