How to apply

What entry costs

Compulsory government charges only. Service fees and anything optional are excluded, which is what makes the figure comparable.

Yellow fever certificate

Arriving from Ethiopia, a yellow fever certificate is required: WHO lists Ethiopia as a transmission risk.

Driving on a Ethiopia license

Ethiopia is party to the 1968 Vienna Convention and Rwanda to the 1949 Geneva Convention. They share none, so no treaty obliges Rwanda to recognize an International Driving Permit issued in Ethiopia.

Whether a permit is required alongside your national license is set by national road law, which we have not checked for this pair.
