Indonesia is party to the and Turkey to the 1949 Geneva Convention & 1968 Vienna Convention. They share none, so no treaty obliges Turkey to recognize an International Driving Permit issued in Indonesia.
Whether a permit is required alongside your national license is set by national road law, which we have not checked for this pair.

Frequently asked questions
Do Indonesian citizens need a visa for Turkey?
No. Indonesian citizens can enter Turkey without a visa for up to 30 days. Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs says ordinary passport holders are exempt from visa for up to 30 days for each entry, provided that they do not exceed 90 days in any 180-day period.
How long can Indonesian citizens stay in Turkey?
Up to 30 days per entry. Türkiye counts the allowance across a rolling 180-day window: the MFA states the exemption as “90 days in any 180-day period” for nationality after nationality. Leaving and coming back does not start a fresh 90 days — days spent in the previous 180 still count against you. The MFA does not say whether the day you arrive and the day you leave are themselves counted, so we count both.
